From in episode chatter, we are fairly certain that Jane Warren 's nanites were helping keep Danny alive. I'm not so certain however that they also caused his asthma. The condition he had before birth could have caused his asthma. The missing artery was already causing problems with his circulation before he was born so I postulate that those problems caused his asthma. Dragon-atwood (talk) 04:01, May 10, 2013 (UTC)
- It mentioned something about the nanites fixing Danny's artery but causing his asthma in one of the Revolution Revealed videos, I don't remember which. M67PattonZippo (talk) 11:35, May 10, 2013 (UTC)
Kind of ridiculous explanation
Electricity is electricity. The heart pumps at 2 to 5 watts and the quadruceps while sprinting can generate 100 watts. Other life forms generate much more electricity. The electric potential across the vagus nerve is in 80 to 150 mVolts. The sheer numbers of these things needed to continuously absorb the power generation from a nuclear plant would make them visible as a mass of goo on the outputs and the power has to go somewhere. You can't destroy eneergy; what they absorb has to be converted into heat or light or mechanical work. 22.214.171.124 14:21, May 30, 2013 (UTC)

- A functional idea may be that they are quantumly tied together, i.e. from the Tower. When the show first came out I tried to think of how it might be done. In semi-conductors there is hole theory, electrons are moved as the hole moves producing a conductivity. By quantumly influencing the holes (via the nanites) at least this might influence the impact on23:23, September 19, 2013 (UTC)126.96.36.199 semi-conductors. On a larger scale, possibly reducing the ability to creat a difference in potiential.
